Stephenson was established in the early 1950's by the late Jim Stephenson at
Latrobe on Tasmania's North West Coast. Initially supplying pumping and water
supply equipment to the agricultural community the Company has gradually diversified
into Tasmania's largest specialist supplier of domestic and rural irrigation
equipment, commercial watering equipment, industrial pumps and valves, filtration
systems and domestic pumping equipment.
The Company now stocks in excess of 20,000 products in it's three locations
at Latrobe, Launceston and Hobart. A fully equipped service centre based at
Latrobe with service staff available Statewide is capable of handling repairs
from the smallest domestic pump through to large industrial pumps and all types
of irrigation equipment.
